A dura\u00e7\u00e3o desse dia da semana da Cria\u00e7\u00e3o tem sido considerada de formas distintas, conforme a estrutura conceitual adotada, lan\u00e7ando-se m\u00e3o de argumentos os mais variados para tentar caracterizar o que realmente o escritor b\u00edblico desejava dizer. Esse assunto j\u00e1 foi tratado de maneira ampla nos n\u00fameros 52 e 53 da Folha Criacionista, nos quais foram apresentados diversos artigos abordando a quest\u00e3o sob os mais variados prismas.<\/p>\n<p>Em conex\u00e3o com esse assunto, surge sempre a pergunta: &#8220;como poderia ser caracterizado o conceito de dia nas regi\u00f5es de grande latitude, acima (ou abaixo&#8230;) dos c\u00edrculos polares, onde no ver\u00e3o o Sol n\u00e3o se p\u00f5e durante praticamente seis meses ao ano?!&#8221;. \u00c9 claro que essa pergunta, por sua vez, tem rela\u00e7\u00e3o com o conceito de semana, e portanto com a observ\u00e2ncia de um dia da semana como dia santificado, pr\u00f3prio para a presta\u00e7\u00e3o de um culto especial ao Criador.<\/p>\n<p>Robert Leo Odom, autor de numerosas obras sobre a observ\u00e2ncia do s\u00e9timo dia da semana, apresenta interessantes considera\u00e7\u00f5es a respeito da quest\u00e3o da observ\u00e2ncia de um dia da semana em um mundo esf\u00e9rico, em seu livro intitulado &#8220;The Lord\u2019s Day on a Round World&#8221;, editado pela &#8220;The Southern Publishing Association&#8221;, Nashville, Tennessee, U. S.
